Accessible Parking
If you are a visitor to KU's Lawrence campus, there are a few things that you should know about the accessible parking available to you.
Accessibility Map
The University of Kansas is continually striving to improve accessibility on campus. The campus accessibility map provides information on accessible parking, ground level or ramp entrance, and accessible restrooms in buildings.
Assistive Technology
The KU campus has 3 computer workstations that have accessibility software installed for students. The locations include the Kansas Union, Watson Library and Anschutz Library.
Braille Services
Disability Resources provides transcription of course materials into braille for qualified students. The majority of the documents converted are textbooks but a variety of formats are supported. Contact Disability Resources for more information.

JayLift Paratransit
The JayLift service is operated through KU on Wheels and is available for those with permanent or temporary injuries who cannot easily access the regular accessible KU Bus Route.
Medical Parking Permit Information
A medical permit is a temporary parking permit for areas that KU faculty, staff or students are not normally eligible to park in, who have a temporary need for closer parking due to a medical condition.
Public Transportation
An easy way to get around is to use KU's bus system. All KU on Wheels buses are lift equipped for wheelchairs, and some buses are low floor.
